## Biography

### Professional career

- He held the role of an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania from 1983 to 1989 and as an Assistant Solicitor for the City of Erie from 2006 to 2015
- In private practice, he worked with the law firms Jones, Day, Reavis and Pogue
- Judge Mead is an Erie native and a graduate of Fairview High School
- Judge Mead has been recognized for his contributions to the Erie County legal system

### Education

- Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

- Elected to the Erie County Court of Common Pleas in 2015 and is currently serving a term that extends through December 31, 2035, pending retention in the 2025 election.
