- His judicial work is in addition to his long‐standing legal practice, which spans criminal defense, family law, DUI/DWI cases, personal injury, wrongful death, and general litigation
- Adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he teaches litigation and coaches the mock trial team
