### Professional career

- Judge of the 28th Judicial District Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court in Virginia, serving since February 25, 2015, when he was elected by the Virginia General Assembly
- Before becoming a judge, Lyle was an attorney in Bristol, Virginia, and held the role of County Attorney for Washington County, VA (1994–1997).
