## Biography

### Professional career

- Kathaleen Saint Jude McCormick is an American lawyer and judge who serves as Chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery, the first woman to hold that position in the court’s 1792 history
- Began her career as a legal aid attorney, then became a partner at Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP, specializing in corporate and alternative entity law

### Education

- B.A. in philosophy from Harvard University and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame School of Law.

### Additional information

- On May 6, 2021, she was confirmed as Chancellor, succeeding Andre Bouchard, and began a 12‐year term
- In November 2018, Delaware Governor John Carney appointed her as Vice Chancellor of the Court of Chancery.
