### Professional career

- Katherine Ann Maraman is an American judge and the current Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Guam, a position she assumed on January 20, 2026 for her second term
- 2026–present: Reinstalled for a second three-year term as Chief Justice
- 2008–present: Justice of the Supreme Court of Guam, appointed by Governor Felix P. Camacho
- 2017–2020: held the role of Chief Justice, becoming Guam’s first female Chief Justice
- 1994–2008: Judge on the Superior Court of Guam for 14 years
- First woman to hold the Chief Justice position in Guam and Micronesia
- Also the first female Chief Justice of Guam and of Micronesia
- She also serves part-time as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Palau and as Justice Pro Tempore for the Supreme Court of the Northern Mariana Islands
