### Professional career

- In 2019, she was appointed by Judge Kelley Powell as County Administrator and County Conservator for Henry County, managing estates and conservatorships when no interested party is available

- Since 2016, Kate has been appointed Guardian ad Litem in over 200 Henry County probate cases and more than 50 Rockdale County cases, plus appointments in Pike, Upson, and Henry County State Courts.
- Katherine C. Thompson graduated cum laude from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 2013 and previously held the role of Staff Attorney to Judge Kelley S. Powell and Associate Judge Katherine E. Fagan in the Henry County Probate Court from 2013–2016.
