### Professional career

- 1998–Present: Judge, Northeastern Judicial Circuit Superior Court
- Chief Judge of the Northeastern Judicial Circuit Superior Court in Georgia, serving Hall and Dawson counties, and is retiring in 2024 after 38 years on the bench
- Joined the Superior Court bench in 1998 by then-Governor Zell Miller and became Chief Judge in 2018
- 1986–1998: Elected Hall County State Court Judge (first woman elected in the county)
- 1981–1986: Partner at Fockele and Gosselin, Gainesville, GA, specializing in criminal, domestic, and juvenile law
