- Before joining the judiciary, Kirk held the role of prosecutor for Winston County and for the City of Noxapater.
- Judge Kirk presides over Place 2 of the 6th Chancery Court District, which covers Attala, Carroll, Choctaw, Kemper, Neshoba, and Winston counties.
