- Larry B. Stauber Jr. is a former judge of the Minnesota Court of Appeals, serving from 2008 until his mandatory retirement in May 2017
- He also worked part-time as a public defender (1978–2006) and was a partner and senior attorney at Stauber & Lien (1982–2008)
- He held the role of an infantry officer in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1974

- B.A. and B.S. from the University of Minnesota–Duluth in 1970, followed by a J.D. from Chicago–Kent College of Law in 1977.
