### Professional career

- Before joining the bench, Jenkins held the role of an Assistant Prosecutor with the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office from 2002, working in multiple sections including Juvenile, Pre‐Indictment, Grand Jury, Trial, and Domestic Violence.
- Notable distinction: First female African‐American judge in Passaic County
