## Biography

### Professional career

- American judge and Justice of the Nevada Supreme Court, serving in Seat A since January 2, 2023
- Trial Court Judge: Elected to the Eighth Judicial District Court in 2009, she presided over criminal and civil cases, launched the District Court Veteran’s Treatment Court, and implemented the first Gambling Diversion Treatment Court in the U.S
- Chief Judge: Served four years as Chief Judge of Nevada’s largest court

- She has received multiple awards, including the Clark County Law Foundation Liberty Bell Award (2019), the Miriam Shearing Award (2021), and the NCJFCJ Impact of the Year Award (2022).
- She was admitted to the Nevada State Bar in 1993 and later clerked for Hon.
- Bell also serves on the ABA Appellate Judges Conference board and has held leadership roles in the Nevada District Judges Association and the American Inns of Court
