### Professional career

- Judge Lisa L. Coates is a long‐time judge of the Stow Municipal Court in Ohio, appointed in 2003 and re‐elected multiple times, with a career spanning public service, law enforcement, and judicial leadership
- Became judicial attorney for a Summit County Court of Common Pleas judge
- Participated in the Ohio Supreme Court’s judicial mentorship program and served on the Summit County Criminal Justice Advisory Board
- One of two elected judges in the court, alongside Judge Amber K. Zibritosky
