### Professional career

- Judge of the Chesapeake, Virginia Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, appointed in 2019, and serves in multiple judicial and professional leadership roles
- Before becoming a judge, Judge Galbraith was Chief Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Chesapeake from 2006, joining the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office in 1994 after four years as an Assistant Public Defender.
- Participated in the Sexual Assault Response Team, Domestic Violence Task Force, and Mental Health/Criminal Justice Workgroup
