## Biography

### Professional career

- Active judge in the Delaware Family Court, serving Kent County since her 2016 appointment by Governor Jack Markell and confirmation by the Delaware Senate
- held the role of a court commissioner in the Delaware Family Court since 2007
- In June 2023, the Delaware Court on the Judiciary publicly censured Judge Vari for delayed rulings The matter arose from allegations that she kept cases under advisement for more than 90 days in 2020–2022, violating Rule 2.5(c) of the Delaware Judges’ Code of Conduct After admitting to the conduct and offering mitigating explanations, the Board recommended public censure
