- Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Thomas University (2001–2005)
- Municipal Court Judge, City of Thomasville — Appointed in 2004
- The elected State Court Judge for Thomas County, Georgia, and Municipal Court Judge for the City of Thomasville, with a career spanning over 20 years in law and judicial service
