### Professional career

- In 2024, Markeith D. Wilson was selected as a full-time Judge of DeKalb County Juvenile Court
- He also held the role of a pro tem judge in DeKalb County Juvenile Court starting in 2018 and briefly worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the U.S. Virgin Islands
- During law school, he began practicing law at the DeKalb County Public Defender’s office, defending adults in felony cases in DeKalb County Superior Court
- His swearing-in ceremony was presided over by Judge LaTisha Dear Jackson, with the judicial robe presented by Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge Tadia Whitner
