### Professional career

- In 2018, Ramos Junquera was honored by the Puerto Rico Department of Justice for his prosecutorial work in the Barceló case and for his contributions to the “Elderly Task Force” after Hurricane María

- Criminal cases in Humacao — For example, in December 2023, he restored a $50,000 bail to Emmanuel Aponte Colón, accused of aggravated assault against his father, after reducing it to $2,500 for electronic monitoring
- High-profile trials — In 2018, he was recognized as one of the “Fiscales del Año” for his role in the 2015–2017 trial for the 2004 murder of Procurator of Minors Antonio Barceló and his daughters, securing a 99-year sentence
