- In December 2019, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Noble as Secretary of the Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet
- Kentucky Supreme Court Justice (2006–2017): Elected in 2006 to the 5th Supreme Court District, she was re‐elected in 2008
- In 2010, Chief Justice John D. Minton Jr. appointed her Deputy Chief Justice, making her the first woman to hold that role
- Fayette County Circuit Judge (1991–2006): Elected in 1991 and re‐elected in 2000, Noble became the first woman to serve two consecutive terms as Chief Judge of the Fayette Circuit Court, one of Kentucky’s original circuit courts
