## Biography

### Professional career

- Presiding judge of the 13th Judicial District Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court in Richmond, Virginia, elected by the Virginia General Assembly in 2016
- Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for Chesterfield County from 1999 onward
- Assistant Public Defender in the Richmond Public Defender’s Office from 1989 to 1999

- Elected in 2016 to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Hon. Angela E. Roberts.
