- Appointed to the Catoosa County Juvenile Court in 1997, Poston has held the role of a part‐time juvenile court judge in the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit
- Restricted from practicing law in juvenile courts but remains eligible for practice at all other trial and appellate levels in Georgia and Tennessee
