### Professional career

- Melanie Williams has been appointed Pro Hac Judge and Judicial Officer for the Fulton County State Court since 2020, sworn in by retired Probate Chief Judge Pinkie Toomer
- Worked in a large corporate firm, then joined the U.S. Social Security Administration as Assistant Regional Counsel from 2009 to 2017
- She subsequently became a partner at Miller Williams Law Group
