Gibbons is the Chief Judge of the Nevada Court of Appeals, serving since 2019, and has been a judge on the court since 2015 - Before joining the Court of Appeals, Gibbons served 20 years as a judge in the Ninth Judicial District Court in Douglas County, Nevada, where he was first elected in 1994 and reelected four times. - Law clerk to District Judge Howard D.
