## Biography

### Professional career

- Michael T. Muldrew is the Chief Judge of the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit Superior Court in Georgia, elected in 2016 to replace the late Hon. John R. Turner
- Before becoming a judge, Muldrew had a 20-year career as a prosecutor in the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit, starting as an assistant district attorney in 1995 and later serving as Chief Assistant District Attorney
- Chief Judge for the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit, which covers Bulloch, Effingham, Jenkins, and Screven Counties in Georgia
- worked for 4.5 years as an assistant district attorney in the Atlantic Judicial Circuit
- He is also a volunteer for the Bulloch County Recreation Department, a Sunday school teacher, and a cub scout leader
