### Professional career

- Since 2009: Appointed as a part-time municipal court judge; became full-time in 2010

### Education

- Law degree: Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from South Texas College of Law (2001).
- Bachelor’s degree: Houston Christian University.

### Additional information

- The Associate Presiding Judge of the City of Houston Municipal Courts, reappointed in April 2025, and has served on the Houston bench since 2009.
- Reappointed as a full-time Associate Presiding Judge by Mayor John Whitmire on April 9, 2025.
