## Biography

### Professional career

- Website: Gwinnett County Juvenile Court – Judge Nhan-Ai Du
- The Chief Juvenile Court Judge of Gwinnett County, Georgia, and the first Vietnamese‐American juvenile court judge in the county and only the second juvenile judge of Asian descent in Georgia’s history
- She also serves as a Superior Court judge by designation for partial domestic transfers

- Early Career: Public defender and prosecutor, later focusing on juvenile justice
- Judge Du presides over delinquency, CHINS (Child in Need of Services), dependency, termination of parental rights, and certain transferred divorce/custody matters.
- A first‐generation refugee, Judge Du was born in an Indonesian refugee camp after her family fled Vietnam by boat and immigrated to the U.S. as an infant.
