## Biography

### Professional career

- Has served in multiple capacities at the Bedford Municipal Court since 2005, first as Acting Judge in August 2005, then as part‐time magistrate in 2010, and most recently as Judge since January 1, 2024
- He also held the role of municipal law director and prosecutor for the Village of Reminderville, and as an adjunct professor at Notre Dame College, Ursuline College, and Cuyahoga Community College
- Before his judicial appointments, Papa was a trial attorney in private practice, general counsel for Ohio Concrete Resurfacing, Inc., and senior staff attorney at Carlin & Carlin.

- Judge Papa has been active in community and legal organizations, including the Ohio Association of Magistrates, Solon Italian Club, St. Rita’s Catholic Church, and the FBI Citizens Academy.
