### Professional career

- Nicola Henry‐Taylor is a Democratic‐party judge of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania, serving in the Family Division since January 3, 2022, with a term ending January 5, 2032
- Before joining the bench, Henry‐Taylor practiced law in private practice from 1997, specializing in family and criminal law, and served on the Allegheny County Human Relations Commission.

### Education

- BA in History from Slippery Rock University, a JD from Duquesne University (1996), and studied English History at Oxford University

- She is active in the Allegheny County Bar Association and was recognized in January 2026 with the Drum Major for Justice Award from the ACBA for advancing justice and equity
