## Biography

### Professional career

- Patricia “Patty” Leopardi Knepp is the first female judge in Warren, Ohio’s municipal court history, sworn in in December 2023 to succeed retiring Judge Terry Ivanchak
- Leopardi Knepp is a Warren-area attorney with a 30-year private practice career at her family’s law firm, John A. Leopardi Co., L.P.A., following her father’s passing in 2005.
- Acting Judge of Warren Municipal Court
- She succeeded Judge Ivanchak, who was retiring, and took over the bench without bringing her own staff, retaining key court personnel from the previous administration

### Education

- She graduated from Youngstown State University with a BA in Psychology (1990) and from the University of Akron School of Law (J.D., 1993).

### Additional information

- Born in Warren, Ohio, she is the daughter of attorney John A. Leopardi and Mary Lou (Ravella) Leopardi.
