- Patricia J. O’Dowd is a judge on the Morris/Sussex County Superior Court in New Jersey, appointed by Governor Phil Murphy in June 2021, and as of July 21, 2025, assigned to the Civil Division (Vicinage 10)

- Originally appointed to the Department of Family by Governor Philip D. Murphy on June 24, 2021 On July 21, 2025, the Supreme Court of New Jersey ordered her reassignment to the Civil Division of Superior Court in Morris County (Vicinage 10), amending the 2024–2025
- She is admitted to practice in New Jersey (1993) and New York (1994)
- Before her judicial appointment, O’Dowd was Assistant Section Chief in the New Jersey Division of Law and Public Safety at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General
