- Born and raised in Gainesville, Georgia, Laine graduated from Gainesville High School, obtained a B.A. in Political Science from Furman University, and a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law.
- She has also held the role of past chair of the Council’s Training Council and currently leads the Council
