## Biography

### Professional career

- On February 29, 2024, the Comisión de Evaluación Judicial of the Puerto Rico Judicial System completed an evaluation of Judge Pérez Medina’s performance under the Ley del Sistema de Evaluación de Jueces y Candidatos a Jueces (Judges and Judge Candidates Evaluation Law) The evaluation found that he met the criteria for promotion to Superior Judge, and the Commission formally recommended his advancement.
