### Professional career

- On December 16, 2025, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear appointed Rebecca A. Simpson as Family Court Judge, Division 3 of the 8th Judicial Circuit, filling the vacancy left by the retirement of Judge David Lanphear.
- Past: Retired Texas Gregg County Court at Law No. 1 judge (2010–2017)
- Rebecca Lynn Simpson held the role of a judge in Gregg County Court at Law No. 1, Texas, from 2010 until her retirement in 2017
