- Judge Regina M. Joe is a North Carolina Superior Court judge for District 19D, serving Hoke and Moore counties, appointed in December 2023 by Governor Roy Cooper
- Governor Roy Cooper announced on December 1, 2023, that Judge Joe has been appointed to Superior Court District 19D, covering Hoke and Moore counties, following the retirement of Hon
- District Court Judge (2007–2023): Elected in 2006 to serve Judicial District 16A (Scotland/Hoke counties), making history as the first Black and first female judge in that district
