## Biography

### Professional career

- First appointed as an associate circuit judge in 2016 by Governor Jay Nixon and elevated to circuit judge in May 2019 by Governor Michael L. Parson

### Education

- B.S.B.A. from the University of Missouri–Columbia (1989) and a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law (1994).

### Additional information

- A 2018 evaluation reported that 100% of committee members found Judge Stewart to meet judicial performance standards, reflecting strong professional regard
