## Biography

### Professional career

- The elected judge of the Elyria Municipal Court in Ohio, serving since 2018 after being appointed by the Governor of Ohio to succeed Judge Lisa Locke Graves
- After law school, he practiced for over 26 years in federal, state, and local courts, as well as administrative agencies, and was a partner at the Fauver law firm in Elyria

- Judge White’s path to the bench was unconventional.
- Law degree through evening classes at Lorain County Community College, Cleveland State University, and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, while working full-time as a factory assembly line worker and carpet installer.
- Before becoming a judge, White served on numerous community and nonprofit boards, such as the University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center, Firelands Association for the Visual Arts, and the Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services Board of Lorain County.
- He was elected to three four-year terms as Carlisle Township Trustee and two terms as President of the Lorain County Township Association
