### Professional career

- Before his current role, Morrison was Presiding Judge of the 10th Judicial District Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court in Virginia, appointed by former Governor Bob McDonnell in 2012.
- Judge on Virginia’s 10th Judicial Circuit Court, elected in 2022, with a long career in juvenile and domestic relations law and private practice
- Judge on the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Virginia, a position he was elected to by the Virginia General Assembly in 2022 to fill the vacancy created when Judge Kimberley Slayton White was elevated to the Virginia Court of Appeals
- Early Career: He began in Halifax County in the early 1990s as an assistant public defender, later joining the firm Bennett, Rand, Watson and Morrison, which became Watson and Morrison
