### Professional career

- Senior Judge (post‐2012) — Continued to serve the Gwinnett County Judicial System for 12 years after retirement, mentoring and guiding the court
- Chief Judge (2004–2012) — Led the Gwinnett County State Court with notable leadership
- State Court Judge (1991–2012) — Appointed by Governor Zell Miller, serving for over two decades
- Recorder’s Court Judge (1987) — Appointed by the Superior Court for his integrity and judicial acumen
- After initial private legal practice, he joined the Gwinnett County judicial system in 1980 as the Recorder’s Court Solicitor, becoming the first solicitor appointed for the Gwinnett County Recorder’s Court
- Distinguished jurist in Georgia’s Gwinnett County judicial system, serving over 45 years in various judicial and legal roles, culminating in his tenure as Chief Judge of the Gwinnett County State Court
