### Professional career

- In 2025, Judge Coss prepared the court’s 18th annual report, which documented 910 total case filings (607 in the General Division, 303 in Domestic Relations) — an 11% increase from 2024.
- From 1976 until his judicial appointment in 2008, Coss maintained a private law practice in Hillsboro
- In November 1976, he was elected to his first of six consecutive terms as Highland County Prosecuting Attorney
- The presiding judge of the Highland County Common Pleas Court in Ohio
- overseeing both the General and Domestic Relations Divisions, with a career spanning law enforcement, private practice, and judicial service
