### Professional career

- Judge Ronda S. Colvin, previously known as Ronda Colvin-Leary, was elected to the Gwinnett County State Court on May 22, 2018, making history as the first African-American to serve on this court
- She also held the role of Solicitor for the City of Winder from 2011 to 2018, and held positions as a staff attorney for the Atlanta Municipal Court and Assistant Solicitor for DeKalb County

- Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida, and holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Auburn University in Alabama — J.D.
