## Biography

### Professional career

- Later elected Presiding Judge for the 43rd Judicial Circuit in 2020 and serves a six‐year term
- Ryan Horsman took office as Division 1 Circuit Judge on November 29, 2018, after being appointed by Missouri Governor Mike Parson to fill a vacancy created by Judge Thomas N. Chapman’s resignation.
- The Presiding Circuit Judge for Division 1 of Missouri’s 43rd Judicial Circuit, covering Livingston, Daviess, Caldwell, Clinton, and DeKalb counties
