- Ryan White won election to the West Virginia Intermediate Court of Appeals in 2024 for a ten-year term beginning January 1, 2025, becoming its first elected judge
- He held the role of counsel to the state Senate Finance and Economic Development committees in 2009–2011 and served on Kanawha County’s school board from 2014 to 2024 after three elections.
- He clerked for U.S. District Judge Joseph Robert Goodwin, joined Jackson Kelly, and formed White Law Offices with his father Steve White in 2012
