### Professional career

- In 2017, she was denied re-appointment to the Western Judicial Circuit Superior Court seat but was instead appointed to senior status by then-Governor Nathan Deal, allowing her to serve on an as-needed basis as a juvenile judge in Georgia
- Appointed to the Oconee County Juvenile Court in 1992 as a part-time judge
- Retired but senior-status judge of the Oconee County Juvenile Court in Georgia, with a career spanning over two decades in juvenile justice and legal practice
