- B.A. from the University of Connecticut and a J.D. from Western New England College School of Law

### Additional information

- Before joining the judiciary, Turano‐Flores was a Partner in the Real Estate Department and a member of the Development, Land Use and Permitting practice group at Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP, where she has practiced since 2006.
- In January 2026, the Boston Bar Association hosted a fireside chat with Judge Turano‐Flores, where she reflected on her career path, judicial perspective, and advocacy skills
- Sarah A. Turano‐Flores is an Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Land Court, nominated by Governor Maura Healey in January 2025 and confirmed through the Governor’s Council process
- Governor Healey nominated Turano‐Flores on January 22, 2025 to serve as an Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Land Court, a specialized court handling real estate, land use, and title registration matters.
- From 2021 to 2025, she was listed in The Best Lawyers in America®, and in 2023 was named a “Top Women of Law” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly
