- Scott Anthony Lewis, 65, of Shallotte, North Carolina, was charged with receipt of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Heard in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, before Judge Richard E. Myers, II
- Lewis, a former U.S. Navy veteran and self‐employed licensed electrician, was already on supervised probation for incest at the time of arrest and had downloaded some of the material while out on bond for that charge, to which he later pleaded guilty
