### Professional career

- Indian‐American judge on the Passaic County Superior Court in New Jersey, appointed in 2011 by Governor Chris Christie, and is the state’s second Muslim judge
- The Criminal Presiding Judge for Passaic County, with the New Courthouse at 77 Hamilton Street, Suite 514, Floor 5, Paterson, NJ 07505
