## Biography

### Professional career

- Atlanta Municipal Court Judge (2021–2023): Appointed by Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms on February 17, 2021, to replace Judge Herman Sloan
- Fulton County Magistrate Judge (2000–2018): Served full-time from 2000 to 2014, then reappointed full-time in 2015 until her retirement in 2018
- A severe car accident shortly after college left her paraplegic, but she continued her legal career, becoming a law clerk and staff attorney for the Superior Court of Fulton County in 1986

- B.A. from Stanford University in 1980 and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 1985.
