### Professional career

- Stephanie Potter Barrett is a nonpartisan judge for District 4, Position 2 of the Arkansas Court of Appeals, serving since January 1, 2021, with her term ending December 31, 2028
- She later served as a deputy prosecuting attorney (2007) and was elected Prosecuting Attorney for the Eighth Judicial District South in 2014
- Her legal career began as a law clerk to Judge Terry Crabtree at the Arkansas Court of Appeals, followed by a private law practice in Texarkana from 2000
