- Stephen G. Scarlett Sr. is the Chief Judge of the Brunswick Judicial Circuit Superior Court in Georgia, serving since his initial election in 2000 and re‐elected in 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020
- Legal Practice: Assistant District Attorney, Brunswick Judicial Circuit (post‐law school) Partner, Benefield & Scarlett (private practice) Representative, Georgia House of Representatives (1997–2001)
- Scarlett serves as Chief Judge of the Brunswick Judicial Circuit, which covers Appling, Camden, Glynn, Jeff Davis, and Wayne counties
