## Biography

### Professional career

- The current Assignment Judge (Presiding Civil Judge) for the Camden Vicinage of the Superior Court of New Jersey, appointed in 2012 and reappointed in 2019, now leading the vicinage since September 1, 2025

### Additional information

- Civil Division, Camden Vicinage since 2018 (Presiding Judge).
- Civil Division: 2017–present; became presiding judge in 2018
- Also Managing Partner at Spector, Gadon & Rosen, and held the role of Cherry Hill Township Councilman (2007–2009) and council president (2008–2009)
- Before joining the bench, Judge Polansky was a litigation attorney at Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin
- focusing on complex insurance coverage and bad-faith litigation, and training insurance professionals to avoid bad-faith exposure
- Successor to: Judge Deborah Silverman Katz, who retired after over 17 years on the bench
