### Professional career

- Tammy M. Riggs is a judge of Department 3 of the Second Judicial District Court in Washoe County, Nevada, elected in November 2020 and serving until January 4, 2027
- She also represented the District Attorney in the U.S. DOJ’s Anti‐Terrorism Working Group post‐9/11 Washoecourts
- Judge Riggs grew up in Northern Nevada, graduating from Washoe and Churchill County schools

- Elected to the Reno Municipal Court in 2016, where she founded the High Intensity Services and Supervision (HISS) Court and the Community Court, providing housing, treatment, and job training for frequent offenders
- Riggs later practiced law for nine years
